Our mission is to fulfill grant requests provided by Mountainside School District Educators. Your donations will go directly to funding future grant requests to provide our schools with amazing opportunities. It is our goal to help grow and develop our children to be the best they can be!
CURRENT FUNDRAISER
The Mountainside PTO Grant Committee is inviting you to sponsor an apple on our Donor Wall Mural located outside of the gym at Deerfield School for the next two school years. 100% of the funds will be utilized to fulfill educator grant requests.
Information:

Apples are 5 inches in width.

$125 to sponsor an apple.

Your name will appear on the mural for two years.

You will have the opportunity to renew your apple at a discounted rate in 2028.

FOR OUR EDUCATORS
Awarded grants will be capped at a maximum of $800. Any grant request over this limit will be discussed on a case-by-case basis by the Grant Committee.

Grant: BJ Ward Poetry in Residence Program
Recipient: 5th Grade Teachers
The BJ Ward Poetry in Residence Program provides 5th grade students with a 3-day workshop led by BJ Ward to empower them as writers and leave them with a greater appreciation for poetry and the power of words.
Elena Bentey Outstanding Character Award
Every year the Grant Committee provides a one time $250 to a graduating 8th grade student.
